Pulled out of Swansboro late a.m. as we didn't have to go far - only a few miles to Morehead City where we planned to spend a couple of days. Got to Portside Marina around lunchtime and Bucket List pulled in right behind us. Barefootin' was already there, and we all planned to do dinner together that evening.
We had our own tour of boats so we got to see both Bucket List and Barefootin' from the inside - very nice! Barefootin' pulled out the next morning and we shared a rental car with Bucket List and went to see the sites. The ferry to Cape Lookout was not running due to winds, but we went to Fort Macon and did some shelling on the beach there. We made the rounds to WalMart and West Marine then went to dinner to celebrate Cindy's birthday.
