Our first night in Solomons we anchored out – quite a
difference from the wilderness of Mill Creek #4. The Mill Creek #2 anchorage at Solomons was
in the middle of a residential section – we were surrounded by houses. The next day we headed for Spring Cove Marina
where we spent several days. They had
everything that a marina could possibly have: store, laundry, pool, poolside
bar. We settled in for several days as
high winds were upon us once again.
We got in lots of biking and museum touring. The Calvery County Museum was awesome and The
Band Perry was playing there the night after we saw them play on American
Idol. Solomons Island was a madhouse
that night!
